Our Board

Who Is Our Team?

Our team is Kathey Avery RN, BSN, CCHW as the Community Health Nurse with our Community Health Worker Supervisor and RN, CCHW Angelique Scott. We encourage people from their communities to become Community Health Workers, train them with our 4-hour training session, offer them subcontracted community health work as trainees. IFPHA has 4 subcontracted CHW, one IFPHA helped become a CCHW and 2 preparing to take the training. If they show interest IFPHA will pay for them to go to one of the community colleges that has the CHW classes to obtain their certification. This is IFPHA’s economic commitment to providing a ‘‘real living wage”. We value their lived experience, and if they are interested in CHW, IFPHA will continue supporting them in leadership roles to further them toward better economic wealth.
